Worship Gathering Update 3/22, 3/29

Greetings brothers and sisters.
On Monday, March 16, 2020, The President and Coronavirus Task Force leaders asked groups and assemblies of 10 or more not to meet for two weeks. It is hoped these unprecedented steps will lessen the Coronavirus Global Pandemic.
Accordingly, Highland Hills Baptist Church will not be meeting together March 22, and March 29. However, we will be recording special worship services for you and your family that will be released at 8:00 am Sunday. The online worship will be just like regular Sunday worship with a time of praise and worship through music, a time of praying together, and a relevant message from God’s Word. To access, go to our website www.hhbcnv.org and click on the worship service link (after 8:00am Sunday).
I hope you will be faithful in your worship. I hope you will be faithful in your praying. Please lift up our world, nation, and our community. Here are some specific requests:
— Pray for God to show mercy regarding the impact of the pandemic and for a vaccine to be available.
— Pray for God to grant wisdom to our leaders making public policy decisions.
— Pray for the Great Commission to be accomplished during these days.

Let me invite you to also, be faithful in your giving and generosity. Even though we are not gathering on Sundays, God’s Kingdom Work goes on! Remember by giving through HHBC you are supporting missionaries around the world and ministries right here at home. During these days, consider giving online (see our website) or just mailing your gifts to the church.

Finally let me encourage you to stay connected. We are working hard to update our church wide email system. If you are not receiving emails from the church (this letter was sent as an email on Tuesday) you can help us by emailing the church at – info@hhbcnv.org – this will allow us to make sure we have your correct email address.

Know this: we love you and care for you. The church has not closed it doors. We are here for you if you have any needs please let us know.

In His Grace:

Pastor John Mark
