In 1988, a demographic study of the Las Vegas Valley conducted by the SBC convinced local church leaders to begin a relevant church in the College Drive and Horizon Drive area of Henderson.

Highland Hills Baptist Church started as a Bible study in a home in 1989 and then moved to rented facilities and then to facilities on College Drive.

Our current Senior Pastor, John Mark Simmons, has been with HHBC since 1990.

Through the years the church has expanded ministries, staff, and buildings, but has remained wholeheartedly committed to the purpose of leading people to grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ.
